The Trappist American Region’s Junior Directors met May 14- 19 at St. Joseph’s Abbey, Spencer MA.  The topic for the meeting was Emotional Intelligence Leadership and the exciting thing about the topic is that this is something we as monks and nuns always knew –the greater your self-knowledge, the more you are able to understand others.  St Bernard with his famous writing on the Steps of Humility would surely approve.
