New Novice at Holy Cross Abbey: Br. Elijah was born and raised in South Carolina. He served in the Navy and after his honorable discharge, he went to graduate school where he received a Masters Degree in Counseling. He wrote a book on helping people with addictions. He came to Holy Cross Abbey in 2018 and did his Observership and was later received into the Postulancy. He was invested in the novice’s habit on February 2nd, the Feast of the Presentation. This is a blessing from God, and we welcome Br. Elijah with open arms!
