Three Men become Observers at Mepkin Abbey
In the early weeks of January, the Mepkin community has been joined by three men who are discerning a monastic vocation. They wear blue shirts as a sign that they are observers.
On the left is Fr. Joe Kerrigan, who was born in Plainfield, New Jersey. He is a priest of Metuchen Diocese and has faculties with the Eparchy of St. Maron of Brooklyn. At center, Richard Bradley was born in San Francisco, California and has been living in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He is 56 years old. On the right is Matthew Landis, born in Bookinghamshire, United Kingdom, and lives in Barbados. He is an artist and is 24 years old.
We wish all three men blessings as they spend time as observers with us.
